Is heispot free for guests?

Yes, browsing and sending requests is completely free. You only pay once a booking with a host is confirmed.

How do I make a booking?

Find a venue you like, review the details and pricing, and click "Send request". Enter your dates and group size. The host usually responds within 24 hours.

Can I visit a venue before I book?

Many hosts are open to an introductory visit. Mention this in your request and the host can schedule a viewing at a convenient time.

What's included in the venue price?

The price usually covers the space for the agreed period. Additional services such as catering, AV equipment or overnight stays may be listed separately. Always confirm the included services with the host before booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

Heispot applies one cancellation policy to every venue: free cancellation up to 60 days before the start, a 50% refund between 60 and 14 days, and no refund within 14 days. If the venue cancels a confirmed booking, you get a full refund. The policy is shown with your request and in your confirmation.

How long is my request or quote valid?

Once the host approves your request, you receive a quote with a payment link. That quote has a limited validity — the deadline is stated in it. If you do not pay in time, the option lapses automatically and the dates and day parts become available again.

Can I still change my booking?

Changing the date, day part or room after confirmation counts as a cancellation and a new request. To adjust the number of people, let the host know as early as possible — close to the date this may no longer be free of charge.

Can I book a room for a single day part?

If the host offers it, yes. Many rooms can be booked per day part — morning, afternoon, full day or exclusive — each with its own price. You pick the day part while composing your request.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

That varies per venue. Some hosts offer only their own catering to safeguard quality; others allow your own. You will see this in the house rules on the venue page, and you can ask in your request.

What if something is wrong with the room?

Check the room on arrival and report any visible issues to the host straight away so they can resolve them quickly. Report other complaints within 7 days after use, via the host or hello@heispot.com.

How do I list my venue on heispot?

Click "Become a host" in the navigation or footer and follow the step-by-step listing process. You add photos, a description, availability, pricing and house rules. Your listing goes live after a short review by our team.

Is it free to list my venue?

Listing your venue on heispot is free. We charge a service fee on confirmed bookings. You always see the exact amount before you accept a request.

How do I receive payments?

Payments are processed securely through our platform and paid out to your account after the booking. You manage your payout details in your account settings.

Can I set my own prices?

Absolutely. You set separate weekday and weekend rates, minimum and maximum stay lengths, and any special conditions. You have full control over your pricing at all times.

How do I manage my availability?

In your listing settings you can connect an iCal calendar feed to keep availability automatically in sync with other platforms.

Can I rent out my room per day part?

Yes. Per meeting room you set which day parts are bookable — morning, afternoon, full day or exclusive — each with its own price. A morning booking leaves the afternoon available in your calendar, and it stays in sync with your connected calendar.

What if a guest causes damage or leaves the room in poor state?

Guests are liable for damage to your room and contents during the booking and for closing it up properly. Report damage promptly and in writing. You can set house rules and optionally a deposit up front; the cancellation terms are in our terms of service.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All transactions are processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept all common credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and iDEAL for Dutch customers.

When is my payment processed?

Your payment is only processed once a booking is confirmed by the host. For request bookings, no charge is made until you explicitly approve the final quote.
